A new partnership that will improve installer efficiency at jobsite with laser technology
Press release 2024-07-16
Acoustic solutions manufacturer Saint-Gobain Ecophon and technology start-up LightYX have signed an exclusive distribution agreement, bringing data-driven technology to construction sites.
With the support of NOVA, Saint-Gobain's external venturing arm, this strategic collaboration will provide construction professionals with advanced tools to enhance on-site efficiency and precision of installation.
The agreement aims to integrate LightYX's innovative technology, BeamerOne™, into Saint-Gobain Ecophon's extensive network across Europe. BeamerOne™ is a tool that uses precise lasers to project 2D/3D digital plans directly onto construction surfaces.
With BeamerOne™, installers can visualise and adjust plans in real-time, streamlining the process, reducing the risk of errors, and thereby realising five times faster installation.
An offer that aligns with Saint-Gobain Ecophon’s goal to bring innovation to our installers and improve customer experience.
“We firmly believe that this technology will transform the way construction projects are executed in Europe. The integration of LightYX's BeamerOne™ into our offering strengthens our commitment to operational excellence and innovation,” says Pierre-Emmanuel Thiard, CEO of Saint-Gobain Ecophon.
The laser layout system is currently in use in 40 job sites across USA. Joining forces with Saint-Gobain Ecophon represents a significant milestone for LightYX:
“Through this partnership, we have access to an unparalleled network of ceiling professionals, which will simplify and accelerate their construction projects with faster and more precise solutions,” says Guy Benromano, co-founder and CEO of LightYX.
