2024-02-07: Ecophon has achieved Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze for its glass wool products produced in the Nordics, which cover 70% of Ecophon’s sales volumes. Ecophon is one of the first companies to achieve the certification under the new, more rigorous Version 4.0 standards.

2022-12-15: SoundCircularity, Ecophon's recycling service for the construction industry, was named Circular Initiative of the Year at the Recycling Gala. The prize was awarded at Berns in Stockholm on November 24, 2022, and goes to innovations, business models or techniques that stimulate circular flows of materials and resources.
2022-11-24: Joining forces with partners The Loop Factory, LINK Arkitektur, DECIBEL by Johanson, LogTrade Technology, and Lund University the aim is to demonstrate a circular value chain and new resource-efficient manufacturing technologies within the construction and demolition industry.
