Goa Institute of Management (GIM) has always been on the forefront of Academic Excellence and one of their key initiatives has been on the quality of infrastructure for the students and professors.

The institution has been keen enough to put a strong impetus on quality of Education and in the process of ensuring this, they have given high priority to the classroom comfort. Room Acoustics was considered as one of the important elements and GIM along with their architects (Arch. Hadrian Lobo from Somaya and Kalappa Consultants) invited Ecophon to participate for the resolution of their acoustic challenges. 3 test scenarios were considered and the best solution was implemented. In this video the director and one of the senior professor have explained about importance of considering sound quality in lecture halls and how the acoustic treatment has improved the overall student-teacher interactions.
