SoundCircularity is a unique Ecophon service that makes it easy to recycle waste materials from the project site. Our recycling partners pick up your materials, separate the materials and components and process them accordingly, including into renewed glass wool for production of new Ecophon acoustic panels. SoundCircularity is currently available in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany and France – and is expanding to more markets soon.
Besides recycling, we see reuse as a key driver of our circular business model. Ecophon acoustic panels are designed to last longer than their typical use, and are easy to demount, store, transport and reinstall in another project. We’re working closely with customers and partners to design, test and launch a ReUse platform with the potential to avoid unnecessary landfill or recycling for as many panels as possible.
During 2022, Ecophon partnered with The Loop Factory, LINK Arkitektur, Decibel by Johanson, LogTrade Technology and the University of Lund in an initiative to optimise the construction industry’s use of resources: ReFAB.
