After engineering school, I started working in the acoustics department in engine development at BMW. There, among the acoustic cameras, laser vibrometers and noise sensors, I found my passion for acoustics. So after ditching the engines, I went off to study acoustics/psychoacoustics in Vienna.

But why acoustics and why no more big BMW engines, I am asked quite often. First of all, engines are loud and burn fuel. I like the peace and quiet of nature and if something needs to be burned, it should be calories while biking, running or hiking. So making spaces quiet and sound more like our natural surroundings is of great importance to me. That is why I’m really happy to have found a place where my passion for sustainability, health and well-being are fundamental in our day-to-day approach to the market. That paired with acoustics, what could be better?
