A landmark building

The REIWA building, Nexity's new headquarters, spans 25,000 m2 and is located in the northern suburbs of Paris. Its distinctive "S" shape integrates gardens, terraces, walkways, and green roofs, creating innovative workspaces. The building features a crystalline facade and a warmer wooden facade at garden levels, reflecting Nexity's commercial and residential focus. It meets strict environmental criteria, earning several sustainability certifications.

Optimised acoustic design

Acoustics played a central role in the design of the REIWA project, particularly in the reception hall. This large-volume space serves multiple functions, including welcoming visitors, distributing to various landings, and providing catering and work areas.

An in-depth acoustic study was conducted to minimise reverberation and noise nuisance. The hall's great height and impressive volumes required special attention to ensure a calm environment conducive to concentration. The chosen solution for the ceiling was Ecophon Clipso™ acoustic stretch fabric. This material was selected for its aesthetic appeal and acoustic effectiveness. Its smooth, continuous surface helps absorb sound waves, creating a serene atmosphere.

The implementation of this solution was facilitated by Augagneur - Pmg, who worked closely with the architectural firm to ensure proper installation. The hall also features a sculpted, undulating wooden staircase that blends harmoniously with the travertine floor and walls, with the Clipso fabric acting as a backdrop to preserve the space's acoustics.

In this way, acoustics are an integral part of the REIWA project's identity, transforming the workspace into a place of exchange and creativity. Close collaboration between architects and acousticians resulted in a harmonious and pleasant working environment.
