Ocean waves on the ceiling

ISS, a global leader in creating workplace experiences and comprehensive facility management, employing over 350,000 people worldwide, has opened a new office for specialists at the Finance Service Centre in the Wave building in Gdańsk. For the design of this distinctive space, ISS once again collaborated with Ecophon.

The interiors of the Gdańsk office draw inspiration from the Pomeranian landscape, reflected in the walls, lighting, and colour schemes that imitate the sea, glacial hills, sand, and waves. To complement this unique design with the right acoustic support, Ecophon Focus™ E acoustic panels were installed across the entire open space area.

For the main conference room, the primary meeting space for employees and clients, free-hanging Ecophon Solo™ Baffle Wave panels in shades of blue were chosen, forming an undulating pattern. When the space is open, the varying shades of blue create a sense of depth, while when divided into smaller rooms, each section presents its own unique wave-like ceiling design.
