The dominant feature of the Štrbské pleso - The Patria hotel - stands at an altitude of 1,355 meters above sea level. It has been a popular holiday destination for 47 years and it recently underwent an extensive renovation. 

The renovation did not only concern the rooms, but also the congress hall, which provides a new standard. It received improvements in the form of Ecophon Solo™ Baffle ZigZag and Ecophon Focus™ Ds acoustic panels.

"The response to the new congress premises, including the acoustics, is very good. This change has already been reflected in increased demand from companies when booking dates for 2024," says hotel director Jozef Bendžala.

The panels not only gave the space a unique design, but also significantly shortened the reverberation time and improved speech intelligibility. This is crucial during conferences and trainings and can influence the overall satisfaction of the participants with the event.
