For me room acoustics is connected to how you experience a room: the behaviour of people, stress, health and how good you can communicate. It is an essential part of how a room “feels” – which seems magical!
I have been working with room acoustics for over ten years and had the chance to experience hundreds of different rooms and acoustical treatments in various countries and I’ve been involved in different scientific research projects. I was able to get in contact with a lot of international experts and end users in different sectors; from kindergarten rooms, open learning spaces in schools and universities to small offices and open space working areas in different companies. Being able to work in the field of applied science, I was able to experience the great impact of room acoustics and the various ways of acoustical treatments.
This helps me to understand the personal acoustical needs and enables me to develop the right concept based on scientific evidence.

Even though the physics behind room acoustics doesn’t really change - the application changes and develops all the time due to new ways of working or learning. This makes room acoustics such an interesting part of my daily work.
