After almost eight months of renovations, the residents of Slaný saw the reopening of the popular swimming hall and its facilities, and we are proud that we, as the Saint-Gobain group, could be a part of it.

The roof was insulated with materials from the Isover division, the glass facades were completely replaced, the stairs to the toboggan and the air conditioning for the swimming hall were replaced. The lighting and acoustic ceiling also received a new coat.

"Visitors will certainly be pleased with the new staircase to the toboggan, which was already badly corroded," says Senior Area Sales Manager, Martin Mráz. "An important element that they will also appreciate is the completely reconstructed ceiling above the pool."

It was the dismantling of the ceiling that revealed further corrosion, this time the steel construction itself. After an agreement with the Property Management Department, it was also reconstructed beyond the original plan.

Acoustic well-being for visitors to the water park is thus provided by the Ecophon Focus™ A acoustic suspended ceiling, which covers the entire ceiling area and creates the impression of a mosaic.
