In Oulu, the fifth largest city in Finland, a completely new university hospital will be built in stages as part of the 1.6-billion-euro OYS 2030 renewal programme. Construction began in 2019 and will continue until the end of the 2020s. The old property stock is gradually being demolished to make way for new buildings.
Building A was completed in 2023 and patient work will begin in the building in autumn 2024.
