Quality acoustics even in a cultural monument
This is the case for the Hviezda Cinema in Trenčín, which began its history in 1940 and has been a national cultural monument since 2009. After the latest renovation, it has been transformed into a modern cultural and creative centr with quality spatial acoustics that enhance the cultural experience.
Renovated spaces and modern amenities
The spaces of both the large and small halls have been renovated, new creative workshop spaces with top-notch technologies have been added, and a new exhibition gallery has been created. In addition to construction work, investments were also made in interior furnishings, computing technology, and audiovisual equipment.
Enhanced spatial acoustics with Ecophon acoustic solutions
The spatial acoustics have also received a new dimension. Our acoustic panels, including Ecophon Solo™ Square and Rectangle and Ecophon Akusto™ Wall C, have transformed the large hall into a space where both ears and eyes are satisfied. Quality spatial acoustics, provided by these acoustic absorbers, positively impact not only people's health but also play an important role in the quality of the cultural experience, not to mention the aesthetic enjoyment.
Aesthetic upgrades and functional design
The cinema café has been enhanced with Ecophon Focus™ Lp in a dramatic black finish, emphasising the beautiful design. Quality room acoustics, which minimise flutter echo and improve speech intelligibility, are enjoyed not only by the visitors at Hviezda Cinema but also by the staff. The offices have also undergone reconstruction.
A hub for culture and creativity
Hviezda is open not only for cultural events but also helps in the education of future entrepreneurs and professionals in the cultural and creative industry. It offers shared offices, a classroom, a dance studio, a club, a café, a concert hall, and new exhibition spaces.
