Saint-Gobain Ecophon, world-leading manufacturer of acoustic systems with headquarters located in Hyllinge in Sweden, opens a new production line in Russia.

Acoustics company Ecophon has inaugurated a new production line in Russia. Ecophon has operated on the Russian market since 1993, but until now without any local production. The new production line is in the Moscow region and part of a larger investment on the Russian market.

– Our new production line in the Moscow region complements the similar line already up and running in Finland. We are now able to manufacture in tandem, fully backed up when serving the Russian market, says Francois Michel, CEO, Saint-Gobain Global Architectural Specialties & President, Ecophon Group.

Among the attendees at the inauguration ceremony were Malena Mård, Swedish Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Francois Michel, CEO, Saint-Gobain Global Architectural Specialties & President, Ecophon Group as well as representatives from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Embassy of France in Moscow.
